IMSLP is a wiki-based website that houses copyright-free scores available for free download. For professional musicians, amateurs, enthusiasts, and budding Gustavo Dudamels, this site is manna from digital heaven. Search is a snap, and the downloads are quick. You’ll be directing your imaginary orchestra in Mahler’s Sixth Symphony within seconds!

From the library portal: ‘Our goal is to create a virtual library containing all public domain scores, as well as scores from composers who are willing to share their music with the world without charge.’

These folks are offering a fantastic service to musicians. This site is exactly what makes the Internet an amazing place.
