A very warm Happy New Year to all our readers.

As for the holidays, I hope you got what you wanted under the tree, whether the latest in high end audio, an iTunes card, a CD, or, even better, an LP! As long as it produces music you like, in sound you appreciate, great!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank our readers. You are the best! Truly! You read (lots), you comment (even more, please), you praise (with a smile), you criticise (roundly, but fairly), and best of all, you are part of the wonderful community of audiophiles, music lovers and musicians.

Second, I want to say thank you very much to our sponsors. We’ve had many since our start fourteen ago. But, none have been more supportive than two Canadian companies, American Sound of Canada and Tricell Enterprises, purveyors and distributors of some of the greatest audio equipment on the planet. What I admire most about these two companies is not the consistent support of Audiophilia since its inception, not the kind staffs, not the lengthy loans of gear, not the friendship, it’s the professionalism. Not once have I been questioned about one word of a review (positive, negative or indifferent) when a piece of their kit is in the chain. Ever. I love that about them. Thanks!

Lastly, my huge appreciation and thanks to the Audiophilia writers. They write (with nary an edit needed), they don’t complain about the pay (!), they meet deadlines even when I don’t, they’re kind, they comment, they support, and best of all, every word they write is passionate, heartfelt, respectful, and truthful. They continue to be the very best part of Audiophilia and make me look good everyday. Thanks, guys!

Once again, have a very happy, prosperous and healthy 2011.

Cheers, Anthony
