As one of Canada’s most respected classical artists, Anthony has performed as flutist or conductor with the finest ensembles in Europe and North America. He was a scholarship student of Harold Clarke, Meredith Davies and Bernard Keefe at Trinity College of Music, London, where he was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship, and won the Chamber Music Prize (awarded by Sir Yehudi Menuhin) and the Guild Prize as the conservatoire’s best wind instrumentalist. While in London, he performed and recorded with major orchestras and chamber ensembles and also won the Overseas League Competition and the Countess of Munster Trust. Postgraduate work was completed at McGill University and the University of Toronto.
